It’s a Start

Welcome to my blog! Happy Mother’s Day to all you moms, and especially to my mom. I wish there were not so many miles separating us at this time.

I am not usually the writer but I’m going to give it a try here. I much prefer to be the editor. Since I have so many long distance friends that I can’t keep up with emailing anymore, I’m hoping this will serve as a place to stay in contact a little better.

It is a beautiful day here in southwestern Colorado. My to-do list is long, so I will keep this first post short. Just wanted to get started and test the blog-waters.

Looking forward to a Mother’s Day Brunch at church tomorrow and then a lazy afternoon spent outdoors with a little fishing and hiking with my kids.
